(Basic) Shadow Chao

Shadow Chao are fairly easy to make. It just might take some time.  To make one of your Chao a Shadow Chao, folow these steps.

1. Hatch a new Chao Egg. Shadow Chao look the best when they are normal colored Chao, but it works with any color.
2. Raise the Chao to love Shadow.  Only use shadow when peting and feeding your Chao.
3. Constantly pet it with Shadow to make it looks more like a Dark Chao.
4. Go collect some Green Chaos Drives with Shadow. I would recommend Radical Highway.
5. Give the Chaos drives to the desired Chao.
6. Raise the Chaos speed to at least 13.  I would suggest getting it as high as you can though.
7. Feed the Chao it's favorite fruit.  That will make it love Shadow more, and raise it's Stamina.
8. Raise the Chao's Stamina to at least 5. Again, I would reccomend getting it as high as you can.
9. When the Chao evolves, it should be a Dark Chao. If done correctly, it will also have green stripes, and spikes like the picture shows.
10. If you would like to make the Chao's stripes turn red, keep giving it Green Chaos Drives with Shadow.  In good time, they should turn red. (Advanced Shadow Chao)

*Notes on Shadow Chao: It's alright to give the Chao speed type animals to raise it's speed faster (See Animals page).  But, be sure to give the Chao some skeleton dogs before it evolves, so the shadow Chao doesn't have wierd tusks, or Cheetah ears.  Some like to leave the Boar feet on the Chao, so that when it evolves, it will look like the Chao has shoes.  That's your descision though.

Reala Chao

Reala Chao are another type of Chao that isn't very hard to make.  All you do, is this:

1. Get a Chao. Any Color, but it might look better with a normal Chao. It's your Choice.
2. Use Dark Characters when Petting, or feeding your Chao.
3. Collect Purple Chaos Drives from any level from the Dark story.
4. Give your Chao the Purple Chaos Drives. Raise it's fly as high as you can get it.
5. Feed your Chao alot of his/her favorite fruit, but normal nuts and fruits are fine.
6. Get your Chao's Stamina up as high as you can before he/she evolves.
7. You'll know it's working because the Chao will start to grow horns, like the one's Reala has in the picture above.
8. When the Chao evolves, it should be a Dark Chao. If done correctlly, it will also have long horns like Reala.

*Notes on Reala Chao: It's alright to give the Chao fly type animals. It will look a bit better if it doesn't have many animals.  After it evolves, you should still try to raise it's fly and stamina to make it the best you can make it. Don't be afraid to give it other Chaos Drives after it evolves. It won't affect anything, as long as you keep Fly the highest.

Light Chaos Chao

This is a Chao that will take a while to make. It will take a lot of effort aswell.  To make the Chaos Light Chao, follow these steps:

1. Get a Chao. Any color.  Treat the Chao well. Never throw or hurt it, always feed it, and give the Chao his/her favorite fruit often. Raise the Chao to be the best he/she can be.  Make sure it claps, and is happy when held.
2. If done right, the Chao should reincarnate (See Death and Reincarnation). After it reincarnates, repeat step one.
3. If done correctly again, the Chao should reincarnate for a second time.
4. After the second reincarnation, do NOT give the Chao any Chaos Drives. NO CHAOS DRIVES OR IT WILL NOT WORK.  Give the Chao one of every animal (see Animals).  ONLY ONE OF EVERY ANIMAL.  Make the Chao a Neutral Chao. Raise the Chao to love both Dark and Hero Characters.
5. If you follow these steps, when it evolves into a Neutral Chao, it should look like the Chao in the picture.

*Notes on Light Chaos Chao: In the first and second lifes, it's fine to give the Chao animals and Chaos drives. Just make the Chao the best Chao it can be. In the third life (after second reincarnation) do NOT give the Chao any Chaos Drives. Give the Chao ONE of every animal. ONE. Not two, ONE.  Raise the Chao to be a Nuetral Chao.  Again, if you follow these steps, it should Evolve into a Light Chaos Chao.
